A collaborative approach to strategy and innovation We regularly run workshops. They may be one-day client-driven strategic workshops or interactive consumer-driven creativity sessions that span several days. It maybe that a team or department just need to get out of the office to have some new ideas and a bit of fun. It helps to have an external facilitator to prepare the session, maintain the pace and ensure everyone contributes fully. Or it maybe that a fully collaborative workshop is needed for innovation or brand positioning work. This can involve clients, above and below the line agencies and consumers and is designed to generate fresh new thinking not easily achieved using traditional methods. Ideas can be generated, concepts developed, tested and evolved and by working intensively and collaboratively over a couple of days. This approach has, in the past, successfully collapsed several stages of a time consuming npd process into one. It allows clients ‘managed’ interaction with consumers and the opportunity to discuss and resolve the consumer response collectively.
