Affordable, provocative film making

We also make movies! Or perhaps we should say corporate docudramas to be precise. In 2005 we made Whatever Happened to the British Breakfast? A challenging investigation of the social implications of the decline of breakfast in the UK. We made it for a consortium of breakfast producers and had a private screening in the West End.

By teaming up with a BAFTA award winning scriptwriter and editor we produced a highly polished and engaging 20 minute film - a cross between Panorama and World in Action for little more than the cost of a few focus groups.

We believe that this is a tool with great potential for those seeking insight into behaviour and attitudes and certainly beats sitting through a 60 chart powerpoint presentation. It can target a particular sector and showcase an agency’s thinking. Or perhaps explore the changing nature of the public’s relationship with media and advertising. It could interrogate one particular medium or take a number of different households and follow their media usage and attitudes overtime.

Something to show new business prospects and stimulate debate. Alternatively a film could be used for corporate purposes, for example to bring to life a brand positioning and explain the brand’s journey to everyone who works with it – internal, external agencies and suppliers. This would be particularly suitable for a re-launch. The film could tackle head-on any confusion in brand identity and encapsulate the new brand values in a fresh and engaging way. Or it could be designed for mass communication of a new culture or new, corporate values. This could be a social responsibility programme, an ethical stance or a new business vision that needs to be embedded within a large organisation in an inspiring way capable of rallying employees.
